PSU President received the Ordre des Palmes Académiques

       H.E. Mr. Gilles Garachon, French ambassador to Thailand, presented Palmes Académiques (Order of Academic Palms) Officier class to PSU Dean, Associate Professor Dr. Chusak Limsakul. The Ordre des Palmes Académi is a national order of France for distinguished academics and figures in the world of culture and educations. The award recognizes Dr. Limsakul’s role in advocating academic relationship between Thailand and France by way of incorporating his expertise in electronic engineering to collaborate on projects and exchange of knowledge with National Institute for Applied Sciences (INSA Toulouse), France.

       Dr. Limsakul stated he was truly honored by such recognition. Since completing his study in France in 1985 till becoming President of PSU, he has been an important part toward building cooperation between the two countries specifically in the areas of electrical engineering, electronics engineering, and computer engineering. Through assistance of French embassy in Thailand, many new generations of PSU professors have been able to study abroad and bring back useful resources to improve the university. Moreover, continuous collaboration with IRD and CIRAD has started International Graduate program on Rubber at PSU. The Ordre inspires Dr. Limsakul to further the relationship and friendship between Thai land and France in the future.
