RDO congratulates Associate Professor Pharmacist Pharkphoom Panichayupakaranant and team from Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences for winning Gold Medal Award at the 13th Taipei International Invention Show& Technomart (INST 2017) which took place between July 28th to 30th in Taipei, Taiwan.
The winning research is titled “Curcuminoid-extract foam pellet with increased water solubility”. Curcuminoid-extract foam pellets with increased water solubility is a joint creation of 3 innovations – environmentally-friendly curcuminoid extraction method, polymerize curcuminoid extract with Hydroxyprobyl-beta-cyclodextrin and Polyvinylpyrolysed K30 to increase water solubility, and to transform curcumoid extract into foam pellet to enhance its bioavailability when incorporated in food and medicinal products.
